Itinerary

    Arrival in Arusha

    Meet and greet at the airport; transfer to your hotel; briefing and preparation for the trek.

    Machame Gate → Machame Camp

    Drive to Machame Gate; begin trek through rainforest to Machame Camp.

  3. 3

    Machame Camp → Shira Camp

    Hike through moorland with scenic views; overnight at Shira Camp.

  4. 4

    Shira Camp → Lava Tower → Barranco Camp

    Acclimatization day; ascend to Lava Tower then descend to Barranco Camp.

  5. 5

    Barranco Camp → Karanga Camp

    Climb the Barranco Wall; trek to Karanga Camp.

  6. 6

    Karanga Camp → Barafu Camp

    Short hike to Barafu Camp; rest and prepare for summit.

  7. 7

    Summit → Mweka Camp

    Midnight summit attempt to Uhuru Peak; descend to Mweka Camp.

  8. 8

    Mweka Gate → Arusha

    Descend to Mweka Gate; transfer back to Arusha for rest.

  9. 9

    Arusha → Serengeti National Park

    Drive via Ngorongoro Highlands; arrive in Serengeti for an afternoon game drive.

    Serengeti (Full Day)

    Full-day game drive exploring the park and its abundant wildlife.

  11. 11

    Serengeti → Ngorongoro Conservation Area

    Morning game drive; transfer to Ngorongoro for overnight.

  12. 12

    Ngorongoro Crater → Arusha Departure

    Early crater game drive; transfer back to Arusha for drop-off at the airport or hotel.
